From now on we’re called Mage Era 魔法时代

The change name issue have been our mind for quite some time. We didn’t say anything because we’re trying hard to think of a suitable name. There it goes, “Mage Era 魔法时代”. Kept the old Mage style but mark a beginning of a new era.

We came across many names. Funny thing is in the end, we all missing the word “mage” so much we can’t find a better word. I guess it has grown roots within us, and others.

So what’s the different you may ask. A major different is that now, we have a complete line-up! A drummer have officially joined us making this a 4-piece band. We’ll intro him to you soon.

2nd, for the language of songs, we’ve decided to focus on Chinese. We’ve done some numbers of English’s and we’ll keep it that way, they may appear spontaneously in album, and in gigs. I believe language isn’t a barrier for our international listener right? Music itself is an international language.

Alright, that said. We hope you’ll be keeping an eye for us, cause what a pity if you miss out what we’re going to do. We’ve been saving all the bullets for the great shootout.

For appetizer, we’ve prepared something for Christmas. It’ll be serve soon. I think you will like it.

For facebook users, oh you must add us for easy updating and release:

Btw, Anyone know how to change name in facebook page?

  1. Welcome to the drummer~

“I believe language isn’t a barrier for our international listener right? ”
I think it is, people have some issues with chinese language here in europe, i guess.. ive not seen any chinese band getting famous here ._. actually i barely see asian bands here except japanese ( and only for people who are into it already )
maybe because they cant sing it ._.

too bad i cant be there to see that Xmas stuff.

ps : the post writer is never shown at the end or beginning or the post, if you dont sign we never know who’s talking except if we’re guessing >_<

  2. To be famous in Europe is like a dream, but we’ll do what we can…

btw, the xmas stuff… you’ll be able to see it too!

and about the author of post, we’ll do something about it. :p
    Right ichiro?

  3. hahaha thank you, actually i told him already, because i was always asking “who wrote this, you, right ?” when he was passing me links to Mlog..
i notice that there is a “wrote by Moon” cathegory..maybe can show the cathegory at the end on the post ? i donno which platform ur using, i think u can do it on most blogs.. anyway..

well then if you get the chance to promote yourself in europe, i advice you to do it with english songs first ( and once u get a bunch of girls liking you forever, u can switch to chinese :p )

ill be waiting for the Xmas event ^^

i know im over-commenting but i have a lil story.
i liked the past name Mage 魔法乐团 because of the funny last character with the square ( yes ive no idea what it could mean because i dont speak chinese at all, and its not present in the new name )
i know its kind of a stupid way to like a name hahaha

    btw happy halloween~~

  4. Amitabha…

    May god bless us…

  5. Don’t forget to change the name in the banner(s) too

  6. Eidorin, ya… gosh that’s a lot of things to change…

Mel, the square word 团 means “team” in chinese, 乐团 means “band”. That means you’re a team person? lol
