Today there’s a Tokio Hotel concert in 1utama, so we (me, chit wei & moon) planned to check out their live…

I went for their autograph session due to a friend’s request, there’s were quite a lot of other fans already there waiting…so during in the queue, the dj was playing Tokio Hotel’s songs from Humanoid album…i heard those fans singing along…while in the queue i suddenly come out with an evil plan…i was thinking ppl are here to get their autograph, and i’m here to promote my band…how? well i have my laptop with me…i burnt a copy of mage’s songs and wrote our website url on it…

During the wait, my mind suddenly think about…”when is our turn??” i see quite a few of the fans wrote things of the cut board with some notes, hearing them singing out along while the song is playing, some of them wearing their tshirts…

Then again i had a quote in mind that i was told few days ago “Write 100, 1000, 10000 songs…you just need 1 song to get you there…” thanks to shaun for the quote…it really mean something…

Just by appearing on stage, just with a hand wave, just with a smile…the crowd went wild…but it is because of their looks or because of their songs? but anyway, they consider a success band…

Awaiting a dream to become reality…

My drink just arrived after 45mins i’ve been sitting here…but i didn’t make a fuss about it cause i’m just waiting the time to passed…

I’m so sleepy that i was almost unable to drive properly…dangerous…so i’m having a cup of white coffee…

Last night Mage had practice cause this thursday there’s an anime fest in Monash…it was crap…everyone was not in mood…something is bothering moon and i was tired…and the practice session bother’s CW, got home around 2am plus…sigh…felt so guilty when i did the most mistakes and i wasn’t playing too well…hope tomorrow’s practice is better…

Another tiring day, today i got to get off work earliear then usual (4:30pm) and leave the boys behind with some of my job…but i did half of my job (portioning fish) before i got off…

Reason i got to get off earlier is because i’m doing a part time at 8:00pm in titiwangsa, doing dinner service for a bunch of rich ppl, luckily it’s only 10pax…and they are not youngsters that drink and get drunk if not i won’t be able to get sleep tonight…the house was huge, luxury design, a guard house in front, public toilet for outsiders, 1 outdoor bar and 1 indoor bar with a plasma on each bar, 2 wine cellars (full of bottles of wines and champagnes) 2 dining area (1 bigger then the other) a nicely design kitchen (even it’s not to professional standards) a outdoor cooking area with washing area…

Didn’t had any proper meal for the whole day and didn’t manage to eat before starting the part time…until around 11pm we were asked if we had our dinner and they asked us to help ourselve in the kitchen with the left overs from the buffet…the kebabs served as starters were aroma and nice, too bad i didn’t manage to try that…so after dinner they had desserts and then coffee and tea and got their ass back home at 12am…

Tomorrow I need to prepare a lot of breaded chicken again, before i left work, I’ve trimmed and portion 45pcs of chicken thigh in half and hour…and I am still freaking tired, when will my body be immune to these load of work and the usage of my body strength and also my mind power…today during and after service my brain was jammed…well i wish myself Happy Breading again tomorrow…

I’m going to blog a little about of my job in this post…

I’m a cook and this is the 5th year working in this line…

Some asked me other than this career do I have other option…some asked aren’t I bored of it…

Well, other than to be success in MAGE the other thing in my mind is to be success in cooking…I don’t know where these passion come from…As I can remember when I started cooking it’s during high school time, and I was asked to help around…then slowly I was asked to cook dinner…there’s one time when I was watching a cooking tv drama and tried to imitate the dishes…then I started imitating dishes that I’m interested when I eat out with my parents…

I’m was freaking tired all the way since last week, I was transfer to another busier outlet and I will be in charge soon (Hopefully) basically most of the staff there are foreigners with no experience…and 2 local with cooking experience but lack of professional training like food safety and hygiene…

The first week when I was there, it was kitchen nightmare…the storeroom the freezers, the chillers, the working top chillers…all fully pack with stuff and not organized, things are everywhere, dirty and disgusting…

I’ve clean and re-organise the working top chillers (pasta and local noodles section), my section, the freezer and the dry store room (temporary)…and in the same time I have to do a lot of preparation…the volume there is really high and once the other 2 buildings is done I think we will be getting higher volume of customers…

My point now is, I’ve cleaned up all the shit and I still have to work fast during service (speed is important cause it’s lunch time and we can’t delay too long) so I have to work maximum speed everyday…after service I’m already half dead and later on I still need to do a load of prep…and last whole week I never go for lunch not even a break…basically I’m freaking tired but I still do my work properly, neatly and not just doing it for the sick of finishing the job…I start work from 730am to 330am but I ended finishing later then that with no break…Why don’t I just walk off when time is up or throw my left over work to others? If I am not as passionate as I am now, maybe I will just walk off, but I just can’t…because of responsibility and also being a senior…

Every night when I landed on my bed, I fell asleep without knowing I’ve fallen asleep…Everyday I have to keep an eye on those foreign workers, guide them and train them…

To be a Cook / Chef, it’s not just only about cooking and experience, you got to be freaking patient, focus and passionate in your job…it’s really hard to maintain the passion in this career, I have some of my friends who work in this line changed their career…sometimes I can’t imagine how much shit those top chef had gone through…

For those PEOPLE who don’t really understand why “WE”, who work as a cook are acting “lazy” when we got home after work or always can’t go home on time…i hope this post will help you…

Ello, it’s me again! Is everyone doing well?

Things are quiet these days in Mage, I guess it’s because of the weather, it’s freaking hot, I mean… it’s not like burning, but like locking in a room with no window kinda feel. When Mel said to me she’ll send some rain from France over to me, it miraculously rain heavily for one day! She reminds me of “Storm” character from x-men. Consequently, France turned hot that day. I guess her power is limited.

Mage had a tea time session on Sunday afternoon because we’re so bored at home and couldn’t stand the weather. We sat in an air-conditioned cafe and do nothing. According to Ichiro, Sunday is especially hot. To me it’s all the same.

So what did we do at home these days? I don’t know bout the others but I’m playing simple flash game to kill time. It doesn’t require commitment and it’s simple. I’ve ran through some games, some are moderate, some just plain stupid, but this one is awesome, I want to recommend to others.

It’s called Bloons Tower Defense 3. It’s simple, just place some gadget along side of the rail of the balloons to pop them before they travel out of the screen. Try play it for one stage and you’ll get it. Mind you, I got addicted after playing for one stage. Good luck, I hope it doesn’t make you stay in front of your pc for hours like I did.

I clear all the hard level in every map, I even made it to stage 100 in easy level, what an achievement! Too bad it doesn’t help a bit to my music…

I’m writing something.

At least I should be happy about that, but it is largely because I’ve had spare time to spend. That spare time also makes me feel a little uncomfortable.

All the works had done on our part. At this very moment, it’s the other side of the team that needs to put their effort in. I hope that they can do things with a little more efficiency and keep to their promise, the continuous disappointment and delays have questioned our decision as whether we’ve made the right choice.

What a shame if it’s these kinda stuff that’s holding us back!

Hmm… come to think of it, we’ve been through quite a lot to stand where we are now huh. We’re fighting outside rather than inside now, comparing few years back. That’s really something.

Making a band famous is fucking hard and everyone knows that.

So please our close ones, though we may not succeed, salute us for what we choose to do with our lives. It may differ from what you think is best, it may even seem suicidal to you, but hey… it’s really something.

I was working that day…after ended my shift at 3.30pm i rushed back and get myself ready for the night…

I was actually afraid that i will lost my way cause i wasn’t sure where was it…but it turn out actually not as complicated as i thought it was…

I was the last one arrive, started sound check as soon as i got there…

We went to Tropicana City Mall to walk around and looking for a place to have our dinner…we end up eating at Esquire kitchen…everyone was budget tight…then something caught our attention, “Promotion Set for RM9.90++” …but it was only for week days…when we are about to leave a waitress approach us and told us she can make a set for us but only 2 choices of selection…we took the deal…
